La stessa cosa vale per il mondo Dreambox, dove i firmware ufficiali sono privi di funzionalità avanzate ed allora si ricorre a firmware di terze parti.

Per il QboxHD qualcosa si sta muovendo.

Il firmware NAPO è veramente ben fatto e costantemente aggiornato. Include diverse feature tra cui CrossEPG (per scaricare l'EPG di Sky) e vari emulatori (esempio Radar 2.0)
